    Neighborhood Reading Captains

The Reading Captains Program is a pilot project of Ready Readers, a nonprofit that shares the joy and power of literacy with young children living in low-income communities. The Reading Captains program is launching in multiple St. Louis Housing Authority Developments (Clinton-Peabody, LaSalle Park, and West Pine) to celebrate the joy and power of literacy with their neighbors by sharing experiences and resources with families.

We are seeking St. Louis Housing Authority residents to serve as Neighborhood Reading Captains. Captains will promote literacy and a love of learning for young children and their families in neighborhoods throughout the developments.
