Construction Updates
- As you may have noticed, demolition preparation activities are underway! Roanoke Construction and Spirtas Wrecking Co. have begun preparing buildings for demolition.
- Spirtas is hiring! They would like to hire Clinton-Peabody residents to assist with demolition activities. If you are interested, please reach out to Stephanie at sco@poah.org and we can connect you to the hiring manager. We will also share more information about job opportunities at resident meetings.
- For safety, LaSalle Ave between Dillon and St. Ange was closed this week and will continue to be closed until all demolition and new building construction is complete. We thank you for your patience on this street closure.
- We will keep you updated once building demolition begins. The first buildings to be demolished are at Chouteau Ave. Only 6 buildings are part of this demolition phase.

Campaign to a New Home
August’s community meeting will include updates on the demolition progress, timeline for redevelopment, and a review of how to be compliant with your lease terms. There will be plenty of time for questions about where we are at in the project and what you can expect moving forward as we plan for the transition to new buildings and management.
