The Development Team will engage Clinton Peabody residents and community stakeholders through an authentic, transparent, inclusive, consistent, equity-driven process using communications best practices including trauma-informed strategies that place residents at the center of impactful plans for people and place.
Key Principles
We believe resident and neighborhood groups know the most about their own communities and offer invaluable experience and insights. Our first and most critical task will be to listen to resident and neighborhood leaders and stakeholders and learn about their priorities. We will work in partnership with residents and the community to translate their vision into a successful, vibrant and revitalized community. We commit to the following principles in our communications and engagement work:
Transparency
We commit to be open and honest with residents and community members because we know establishing trust is critical
Inclusion
Residents will be included in all aspects of the planning and development process through a variety of outreach and engagement strategies
Consistency
Communication will be consistent, continuous and direct
Planning for People & Place
The plan that emerges through the community engagement process will be centered on equitable, impactful, sustainable and transformative initiatives that help residents achieve their goals in a high-quality, connected and amenity-rich community.
Resident & Community Meetings
Our team looks forward to working with residents and community members in designing the future of Clinton Peabody. We will be hosting meetings, pop-up events, sending surveys, and more to engage residents and stakeholders to learn from their lived experiences. The team will provide regular communications management for the duration of the project to include door to door outreach, project website, texting, and more.
