November is a time to give thanks. This month, we are asking residents to join us for a Thanksgiving meal and interactive activities as we share gratitude for each other, our neighbors, our supporters, and the progress we’ve made this year. All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Ameren Energy Assistance Program

Stop by the Housing Authority table during Thursday’s meeting to learn more about and sign up for Ameren’s energy assistance program.

The eligibility requirements to participate are:

• Eligible residents may receive $35 to $90 credited monthly to their Ameren Electric accounts (based on household size, income guidelines, and heating source). A down payment on your Ameren account is required to begin the program.
  
• You must be a SLHA resident, with an Ameren account at your current address. 
  
• Required documents: Photo ID, all pay stubs for previous month with “pay dates” in that month, or award/pension letter from 2024, Social Security cards for all household members, and Ameren bill
